Contest Winner at Betterphoto.com

As some of you may know I am active in a handful of internationally competive photography sites. You can view my work in these galleries by clicking on the links in the right hand column here in my blog. Results at one of these photography sites, Betterphoto, were announced a few days ago and I recieved a second place win! Check out the image and official notification below:

"She can see your Soul"

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE8/25/2008 Photographer Jennifer L. Alder of Northville, MI, has won Second Place for July in the prestigious photography contest sponsored by BetterPhoto.com, the site's founder, Jim Miotke, announced Monday.More than 22600 entries were submitted to the online photography contest, which attracted contestants from around the world and featured 10 separate categories. Alder's stunning image, "She can see your soul", garnered top honors after being submitted in the Digital Darkroom category.

In addition to the winning image shown above, two other of Jennifer's entries received finalists in the contest.
