February really snuck up fast on me this year! wow! After many hours... days... weeks of work and completing projects- my new web site is finally up and running. Yay :)
So, a ton of people asked me WHY I needed to change it in the first place. My answer to that is: I really wanted a place where I could display images a lot larger than my old site allowed. With the new site, so much more detail can be observed- especially in the client proofing area. In addition, I wanted a distinct area for my wedding photography. A place JUST for brides, grooms and wedding details. I do have a few photo galleries still to add and some final touch ups to take care of still... but for now it is up and running just fine.

Other News: My wedding site now has a list of preferred vendors! If you are planning a wedding, please consider contacting them! WONDERFUL people and high quality products all around.
Over the next month or two, be sure to look for my photographs on their web sites, advertising or even hanging up in their shops!
Don't ya just LOVE them??? There is nothing like putting up a favorite image on a wall and having look just perfect.
I want to let all my Blog readers, fellow photographers and photography clients know about a fabulous place to purchase frames. I just received my first one from this wonderful company today and am just in love with it. The frame is heavy duty, high quality, rustic and unique- handmade in the USA. They offer gorgeous vintage and artsy designs in all sorts of colors as well. The company is a husband and wife based team that is located in California.

Check out their site- you may just find a perfect frame! :)

Hello everyone.
Just wanted to share really quick that an image I took of my niece last year is being displayed in Times Square, New York today. She gets a kick out of it for sure... tells her teacher and all the kids in her class. :)

Stay tuned everyone! I seriously have some new stuff and a whole new website design coming in just a couple of weeks. I can't wait to share it with all of you. :)
Today I have a picture of my niece, Melanie, being displayed in Times Square New York as Kodak's Photo of the Day!
ScrapinWillie's has recently made the below image a Winner this month- I took this in Reno.

Onexposure.net has also published another image of mine:
When the rain settles in...
Thanks to Melanie, Chelsey, Joey, Natasha and Elizabeth... who are wonderful people to work with!
I just realized how terrible I have been at Blogging this month. It has been a cold and BUSY month for me. I actually just returned home from a two week trip a couple of days ago. I will try and make up for my lack of posting this month with some extra information in this one. LOL.
Portland, Oregon, was where we started off. We visited Ryan's (my fiance) family for the New Year and did some sightseeing. The area was flooded in many spots and there were mudslides all over the place. BUT, it was so nice to see everyone again- and to meet the newest addition, his tiny niece. It did rain most of the time; in fact, it was raining when I snapped this shot in the gorge. Despite the lack of color and oversaturation this time of year, it is still such a gorgeous and peaceful place to be and I always take the time to visit it whenever I am there.
After a week and a half we headed to Reno, Nevada for an extra long weekend. His mom, brother-in-law and sister flew out a day later and kept us company. I have played Poker since I was 5 years old but for some reason had never taken the time to learn Pia Gow. I observed them all play for about half an hour and then I decided to jump in. I was lucky to hit a straight flush and walk away hundreds of dollars richer. Yay! It's always more fun when you win.
For the first time ever (while on vacation) I took the time to meet up with a local model while in each state. So glad I did. It was a great experience. The first model is from NW Oregon, Mariah, and can be seen on my Project: Model Blog right now.
The second model is from Nevada, Elizabeth, and will be featured in my Project: Model Blog in a couple of weeks.
Besides traveling and working with models, I have started to assemble my new website. It is a more complicated task this time around- and will take about 3-4 weeks to finish. I have some new surprises, projects and stuff to share with you all. I will be thrilled when it is done. Stay tuned.
Oh, and TRY to keep warm everyone !!!! :)
An image I took of my third grade nephew, Dylan, about this time last year is currently being displayed in Times Square, New York, TODAY! What a nice surprise!!! The picture can be seen below:
Dylan is really excited about been seen by onlookers in the big city ;)

I have been crazy busy... but GOOD busy lately. With the holidays, trip planning, family gatherings and photo sessions around I think sometimes I forget to just sit back and take it all in. Ya, I am heading to a photoshoot this afternoon- but after that I will be taking a few days to watch everyone else run around. LOL. I wish you all a blessed holiday :)
Here are a couple of images of mine which were recently recognized:
